Colonic Hydrotherapy

The bowel is a vital part of the digestive system. Populated by billions of friendly bacteria, which aid in detoxifying waste matter & fighting unfriendly bacteria it plays an essential role in our well-being. But, if the colon function is impeded through factors such as stress, high sugar intake, antibiotics, a less than perfect diet, alcohol consumption, etc., the balance is upset and the percentage of unfriendly bacteria will rise. This can lead to many ailments including bloating, constipation, Colitis, flatulence, Diverticulitis, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Candida, ME, PMT, fatigue, depression, lethargy, food allergies, skin problems and acne. In fact it is believed that a staggering 80% of diseases are caused due to the colon not working at its optimum level.

Colonic Hydrotherapy – an internal bath of warm filtered water – can help to ease the symptoms of all of these conditions through cleansing the colon, thus enabling it to function at its optimum level. What is colonic hydrotherapy? Filtered warm water is gently flushed through the colon, which, combined with special massage techniques, helps to cleanse the bowel and remove waste and unwanted bacteria.
